Roy has 20 years’ experience working with commercial vehicles beginning his career in the industry as a fitter / mechanic, then a fabricator and engineer on trucks, vans and cranes. Later moving on, to working in the recovery industry including working with SOCO before joining Roger Dyson Ltd in July 2014. Roy’s interests include travel, technology and innovation, the great outdoors, computing, film and the performing arts. (I don’t like trucks)
Matt’s working career started at Droitwich Diesel Services for 12 years specialising in re-conditioning diesel fuel injection systems. He then moved to Christian Salvesen’s as a HGV Technician gaining his class 1 licence. After 3 years, he moved to Keltruck Droitwich as a HGV Tech and promoted to Workshop Foreman within 4 years, achieving Scania Master Technician status a year later. A further promotion in 2006 led him to become the Depot Manager. Matt says “my proudest moments at Keltruck were; taking a young team of 5 techs to the UK Scania Top Team competition finals and coming 2nd plus finishing 3rd in the annual Depot Of The Year competition out of 89 Scania UK depots”. After a long and successful career at Keltruck, Roger Dyson offered me an exciting opportunity to run his brand-new state of the art 8 bay workshop. 12 months on and Matt is making a positive impact on the service department and will continue to grow the department with the support of his wife of 4 years Katie. Katie and Matt have been a successful working team for 14 years. Matt said “Most people can’t believe that we work together, but I think we make a great team and it works for us. It just means I get to be the boss between 07.30 and 17.00”. Outside of work Matt enjoys, DIY (he has been renovating his house of 7 years) socialising with friends and travelling.

Katie Pettican is relatively new to the Roger Dyson team, bringing with her a wealth of experience of over 20 years in the transport industry, providing aftersales support to an array of customers. Katie is a key contact in the Aftersales Department building and maintaining customer relationships within the Roger Dyson Group.
