Transloader Twin Deck
The Transloader Twin Deck is built as an all steel fabrication and is available in 3 to 4000kg design payload models suitable for installation to 6 to 12 tonnes GVW chassis where day, sleeper and crew cab options can be accommodated. The Transloader is a fully welded fabrication which includes a full steel floor fabricated from chequer plate steel enabling the vehicle to be used for a variety of vehicle and equipment transportation. Even when the casualty is disabled or damaged, this ensures that no damage can be caused to the strong steel decking during the loading operation.
Loading is normally via an electric or hydraulic winch mounted to the front of the platform and two easy slide out loading ramps stored through slots on the rear panel allowing the operator to deploy the loading ramps without the need to lift or carry these items while at the road side or on a busy motorway hard shoulder. The platform is constructed to give a gradual slope for loading and unloading the disabled vehicle.
The Transloader comes with a vast array of optional extras and on this particular model it is possible to choice from four different top loading deck platforms, giving the operator a potential to carry one, two or three cars in the same journey. The top deck construction is the same as an all welded fabrication but in most cases is specified with an open centre to reduce the overall weight of the platform without being detrimental to the equipment’s performance.
The Transloader can also be specified with a second vehicle lift which comes as standard with removable wheels grids allowing it to be tidily tucked away into the rear of the Transloader body without reducing rear end ground clearance. This maintains the best possible loading angle of the fixed platform.
