Prestige delivery for Lambhill Garage
Lambhill Garage in Cullompton Devon has enhanced its recovery fleet with the addition of a new covered 3000SLa from The Roger Dyson Group, the UK’s largest manufacturer of recovery vehicle systems.
The 3000SLa on a Renault 220.10 Crew Cab chassis was collected last week after the European Tow Show in Telford, having been previously showcased at the new Dyson Recovery Vehicle Showroom launch in June.
The 3000SLa produces a loading angle of under 5 degrees making this covered model the ideal tool for use within the prestige vehicle recovery sector. Lamb Hill undertakes prestige recoveries for all the major clubs, plus provides collection and delivery services for their local Aston Martin dealership in Exeter.
The simple design of the slidebed incorporates a manual left to right sliding winch with single lever control with radio remote override. An additional feature of the covered vehicle includes a buckleless sliding curtain system with special folding bars to ensure the curtains never touch the paintwork of the valuable vehicle inside. The curtain sits within a track, allowing the operator to open and close the curtains quickly and efficiently. This buckleless system also enhances the look and finish of the covered vehicle and enables the application of a smooth, clean livery.
This is the second Dyson vehicle in almost as many months for Lamb Hill Garage, who took delivery of a 7.5 tonne 3000LA slidebed back in April.
Arthur Murdoch, Managing Director of Lamb Hill Garage said “The new SLa is a valuable addition to our 30-strong fleet of recovery vehicles and is proving to be the perfect machine for the collection, delivery and recovery of prestige cars. The SLa combines the latest innovation and design with a simple and easy to use system – it’s just the job for what we need. I never fail to be impressed by the Dyson set up – great equipment, great people and a great quality product finished to the highest of standards. You can’t ask for more.”Back to News & Events
