NRC Slider
The NRC slider heavy vehicle recovery system is the most powerful recovery system for its size manufactured today. Not only does it gain its strength from the V shaped boom and the forward mounted turret but it also has one of the highest boom elevation angles and the option for a third stage boom extension. The hydraulic winches are mounted well forward to the left and right hand side of the turret giving the maximum distance from its fully swiveling boom end sheaves to allow the winch cables to be managed in the most efficient manner. In addition to all these high quality features the NRC range of sliders has the unique facility to be able to slide the crane to the rear of the recovery vehicle chassis, this gives the maximum boom reach in the horizontal position which allows boom operation at its maximum elevation without deploying any of the extensions to perform the highest capacity lift. This unique facility also moves the crane directly over the rear stabilisers and gives a maximum distance between crane pivot and the front end counter balance giving the best stable lift performance, not equaled by any forward mounted crane.
The system comes as standard with hydraulic rear stabilisers, three stage underlift, dual controls to the side of the vehicle with the option of cable or radio remote controls.
The NRC systems are suitable for installation from 4x2 up to 8x4 chassis and still leaves the option to have the NRC removable tag axle system thereby increasing the rear end capacity with more lift and tow performance.
