Ha (Hinged Approach)
The Hydraloader Ha, originally built by our company under the name Brimec SL60H, was the original concept of a low approach loading platform, reducing the conventional loading angle from 10 ° down to 6 for the first third of the platform approach.
The unique concept over tilts the body to create a hinge in the platform allowing the casualty to approach the first part of the platform, at a 6 ° loading angle and then it is hydraulically tilted to allow the casualty to be transferred from the loading end of the platform to the carrying deck. This reduces the loading angle in two different places, from the road to the start of the platform and onwards to the main deck. It also allows the platform to be tilted to create the correct clearance when loading difficult and exotic cars and equipment.
Although the Hinge Approach platform has now been overtaken by the Super Low Approach there is still a big demand for customers who want to make to move from the conventional lower approach platform to hinge platform without going completely to Super Low Approach, if you are already operating a fleet of conventional Low Approach platforms this model gives you the opportunity to introduce low approach over a period of time and not make your existing equipment obsolete through a dramatic change to SLa.
The Hinged platform is available in two different models from 3000 and 4000 kgs capacity allowing it be installed on chassis from 7 to 10000 kgs G.V.W and also accommodated on day, sleeper or crew cab chassis variations.
