Dyson Hydraloaders join the Elite
A trip to Scotland to visit a prospective customer personally paid dividends for Roger Dyson’s Sales Manager Tony Rayner, when he landed an order for two new slidebed recovery vehicles from Elite Falkirk.
Tony made the round trip of well over 600 miles from Dyson’s headquarters in Droitwich, Worcestershire, following a call from Elite proprietor Mark McLuckie.
Mr McLuckie recalls: “We contacted all of the main suppliers but it was the speed and efficiency of Roger Dyson’s response to our inquiry that most impressed us.
“Tony came all the way up to Falkirk to sit down and discuss our requirements in person, and the combination of chassis and equipment he came up with suited our needs perfectly. He also took a vehicle from us in part-exchange and gave us a very fair price for it, which made the whole process very simple from my point of view.”
He adds: “Everything was handled extremely professionally and the vehicles were duly delivered on time and exactly as we ordered.”
The two Mitsubishi Fuso Canters have lined-up alongside Elite Falkirk’s four other recovery trucks and a single service van, and are already hard at work.
Both are 7.5-tonne Canter 7C18D models with range-topping 180hp engines and factory-fitted Double crewcabs, allowing each to carry up to six passengers as well as the driver.
Their Hydraloader 3000La Low approach slidebeds, meanwhile, have 3,000kg capacities and are fully remote radio-controlled, allowing for safe and secure operation by a single user.
Elite Falkirk works throughout Scotland’s Central Belt. “I was already aware of Roger Dyson’s reputation for quality,” says Mr McLuckie, “and on the evidence of our two new Hydraloaders it’s certainly well deserved. They’re obviously strong and well built, while the finish is really excellent.”Back to News & Events
